Iceland Nudicaule Mix Poppy

The Poppy Iceland Nudicale Blend, 'Papaver nucicaule', has dainty, graceful bright colored flowers on 15 inch slender, leafless stems. No flower is quite as dramatic as the Iceland Poppy when the sun shines through the petals. The Iceland Poppy has 3 inch flowers in colors of orange, red, pink, rose, yellow, cream, and white. The Iceland blooms in the cool weather of spring for 2 to 3 weeks. Successive plantings every 20-25 days apart will produce blooms all growing season. The Iceland Poppy makes great cut flowers.

The Poppy Oriental, Oriental Blend, 'Papaver orientale', will be the most dramatic flower in your garden when its large 4 to 8 inch crepe paper-like flowers appear. This is a very hardy perennial in cooler climates and it is short lived in warmer climates, but no less dramatic. The foliage completely dies back after bloom and reappears in the fall.
